Hi friends! It’s me the beach lover. Always at the beach two years ago but doesn’t know how to swim hahaha! I really love beaches…when I feel I’m not in myself anymore, i go to the beach. By just staring the water and the clouds…I get back my identity          

         I’m Laresa, resides near the beach of New Rochelle, New York. Don’t have latest picture of the beach in my place yet. It’s already in fall when I started writing this blog. It’s cold to go there. I tried but I can’t tolerate the very cold breeze! Comes spring…my first project is to take pictures of the beach in New Rochelle.          

          I spent my 31 years of my life in the Philippines. I am a traditional Filipina who loves simple Filipino foods especially seafood, vegetables, and fruits. I enjoy cooking in my own style and taste.          

          Gardening, painting, photography, business, and teaching are the activities I am looking forward to do when I retire. Not the usual people do that they retire in their 60′s but I’m planning to do it earlier. It will give me a chance to do more interesting things and have a life that I can enjoy most of it.

One of the happiest moments in my life! I went to Statue of Liberty. Once reopened my mind to the value of freedom… to dream, soar, and live a life that we want!

My destiny brought me to the world of Nursing. I finished a Business Administration course already. Then one day, I caught myself being a Registered Nurse!

Something From Nothing

          Many people have brilliant ideas. The successful ones are those who actually put their ideas into action. It may take mistakes and failures. But, we always bear in mind that the one who never failed are the one who never tried. On the brighter side, the one who succeed is the one never feared to fail. He who takes risks and do his best and might ends the successful one.

          It may be well to mention that amongst our enemy within ourselves is the fear to begin things. Lots of what ifs play in our minds until our emotions are carried and we decided in the end not to.

          Indeed a common situation we encounter. Even in daily simple decision-making, sometimes it makes us feeling tired to think it over and just let it flow. Accumulated altogether, one day we hate ourselves caught in pile of so much things to do.

          A simple step, no matter how small it is makes a difference. The outcome may not be evident at once. If we persevere to continue on moving, no other way will it leads but to realization of the plan. Although, sometimes there are hindrances, yet, it’s the spice that make it more challenging. If we quit, then we are a coward of the fight. A combat to make things happen. It’s a great satisfaction to feel when we accomplished something from nothing.
